Solar Flare Spark series Book 3 eBook Autumn Dawn
I loved the SPARK series. One has to suspend disbelief about all the various species that are able to interbreed, but the stories are exciting and believable and the characters engaging.BUT - One can really tell the difference between a published book (the first 2 SPARK books are from Dorchester) and an indie published (the last, Solar Flare)
There are so many misused words in this book (eg, complement for compliment, conscience for conscious) and missing words.
I'm dropping my rating to 3 star because of this.
Why don't Indie writers get their work properly proof read?
As well as providing entertainment, books influence their readers' use of language.
Authors should, but unfortunately too many Kindle authors don't, understand and accept responsibility for maintaining standards.

Solar Flare Spark series Book 3 eBook Autumn Dawn Reviews
The heroine is such an annoying immature woman it is not funny. The first 2 books in this series were good, don't know what happened with this one. The more I read of it the more I despised the heroine, and felt sorry for the hero.
Fascinating series of three sisters in a planetary inn. How the run the inn and find true love. Much adventure
I enjoy futuristic romance and think Autumn Dawn did a great job in creating new universes along with characters that are relatable and entertaining. But whereas When Sparks Fly and No Words Alone were published by traditional means and Solar Flare was self published, I could see a vast difference in the quality of editing and overall story telling. However, I was glad to see the final story of the Harrisdaughters told.
I have been a fan of Autumn Dawns for several years now, I liked all three books in this series. One of my main complaints is that it seemed the author caused otherwise intelligent heroines to suffer through short lived moments severe brain damage (we are talking vegetative state kind of damage here)to add plot twists. Four year olds wouldn't make the same errors in judgements that the heroines did.
I loved her book no words alone but this book I couldn't take it any more the sisters are soooooo annoying they wouldn't stop bitching oh get married marry him already I was so ready to throw the book away and not finish it but I powered through it. I just the sisters that really killed me in this book. So all who read this review do not buy this book it's not worth the money.
The story by itself is very entertaining. I just had a hard time with the conflict between Brandy and Azor. It seemed they had years of history to get to know each other between the previous book and this one but nothing happened? I kept wanting to tell Brandy to grow up and get over herself. Life’s too short to hold a grudge. Couldn’t she see what a great guy Azor was by the interaction he had with her brother-in-law and his kids? Sorry, I felt there was too much time wasted between the characters. But loved the integration of the main characters in the first two books.
Spirited Brandy has had a lot of bad things happen to her, and another scandal is just something her sister's can't handle. Azor has known Brandy for awhile but only recently has started giving in to his desire for her. But Brandy is very hard headed and not willing to give in completely. Many adventures await them as they travel for eight months to visit Xera, Brandys sister who lives off world with her Scorpio husband. I truly loved this third installment of the Sparks series. And was excited to read Brandys story and learn more about Azor. The story just flowed so easily I could not put it down. Another great book by Autumn Dawn.
